TeamSeagrass at the Biodiversity of Singapore Symposium III (24 Sep 11)

Jocelyn Sze shares about our work with Brigadier-General (NS) Tan Chuan-Jin, Minister of State (MOS) for National Development and Manpower. He is the Guest of Honour at the Biodiversity of Singapore Symposium III.
How nice to be able to share what we do with the more than 300 people who attended the Symposium!

Jocelyn shows the Minister and VIPs what goes on during a monitoring session and how ordinary people have made a difference for our seagrasses.
The Minister has a closer look at the transect square!
We also learn today, that the Minister may be going to Cyrene Reef to see our seagrasses there! Jocelyn is showing him some of the fascinating marine life that he can expect to see there.
Thank you to the organisers of the Symposium for allowing us to highlight TeamSeagrass to the VIPs.

And Siti has an awesome poster about our seagrasses too!
She shares more about the seagrass distribution in Singapore.
With a map of their location.
Featuring Chek Jawa, Pulau Semakau and Cyrene Reef!
Singapore has amazing seagrasses! More about Singapore's seagrasses and how you can join TeamSeagrass to make a difference for our shores!
